Our Teacher - Miss Tempest

I am pleased to have joined the Batt School team this year to begin my teaching career. I studied at Oxford Brookes University  and took an active interest in inclusive teaching and nurture practice during my studies. I love teaching English, French and   by making sure that we have time to learn through experience, talk and collaboratively learn with one another! I aim to make our Red Squirrels’ classroom a safe and inclusive environment for all children to learn in and I am fortunate enough to work alongside such a great Year 3 team that enables me to do so. This is a classroom I also 'learn' in, so it is so important to me that I create this safe but fun learning space!

In my spare time, you will find me spending time with my friends and family, baking in the kitchen and going on walks! My two mischievous cats, Teddy and Beau, certainly keep me on my toes too!
