The Batt Church of England Primary School

The Batt is a Church of England school for children aged 4 to 11 and part of the Oxford Diocesan School's Trust (ODST). Our uncompromising aim is to ensure provision of a curriculum that is rich and inspiring which promotes children to think deeply, accept challenge and develop the skills to persevere, ensuring they achieve in all areas of the curriculum and are prepared for the changing needs of learners in tomorrow’s world.

We are also commited to developing children's personal growth and character through values education, grounded in our Christian vision - 'Love everyone, Lovethe adventure of learning' and our values of friendship repect and perseverance. Whatever their starting point, we have high expectations for all chidren and want them to flourish in all areas of their life - educationally, personally, spritually and in their health and wellbeing.

All staff at our school have strong commitments to the development of the ‘whole child’. From their safety and wellbeing, manners and personal presentation to their individual progress in all areas of our curriculum, we work in partnership with parents to share and support your child’s learning journey and continue to learn and develop ourselves as professionals.
